The training will use psychophysiology research insights to increase our understanding of stress, how our body responds to stress and we ought to perceive and respond to stress, to reduce any negative impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to lockdown of many activities, most business operations affected, and individuals and families went into self-isolation, and practicing social distancing, spending much time at home with little to do. Faced with uncertainties and not knowing when the situation will be over, people are genuinely worried about what the future holds for them, their families and careers, especially those people whose employment, income stream, and career plans have been affected by the lockdown. Some people lost opportunity to complete vital training, or apprenticeship, to increase the chance of finding a new role. We know that being in this situation can lead to anxiety and worry, which may be making individuals to feel under pressure, and stressed with risk to their mental health and wellbeing.
